Elementary School Desks

First graders sit in pairs and at individual(older grades) school desks. They use their tables more and more for writing and less and less for art activities. The older the students get, the more frequently they write with a pen.

Basically, school furniture for an elementary school must include tables that will stand up to just about anything and will seat 2 students.. For younger grades especially, activity tables are great. Schools usually prefer school desks for grades 5 and up. Double desks are an alternative and should be coonsidered. Chairs/Desks have attached book baskets. It's advantageous for the teacher to see what the students have under their desks. After all the teacher can stop discipline problems. Look for school tables and desks with hard plastic tops. You will save in the long run.
